Meet the Team

Director – Nathan

Nathan weaves the strategy of the Board Of Trustees and community need into RHW’s operations. He is a Dad pun enthusiast and is often found at his desk beside a half cold tea or out and about connecting with other community changemakers.

Operations Manager – Sese

She/Her or They/Them

Sese is our resident spreadsheet and list nerd, and a self-proclaimed crazy cat mum. You’ll find her doing a bit of everything both behind the scenes and in community facing services.

Team Leader – Slay

Slay is our charismatic Team Leader who focuses on wellbeing first and foremost. Their passion is supporting and uplifting our team so they can achieve greatness in their roles and become the best versions of themselves.

Support Coordinator – Logan

As Rainbow Hub’s Support Coordinator, Logan’s role is to ensure that members of the community feel safe and looked after. When he’s not facilitating groups or in support meetings he can be found helping outside organisations find ways to better support our community.

Digital Coordinator – Liv

Liv, one the resident Gen-Z of the team, monitors and maintains Rainbow Hub Waikato’s social media. They can usually be found in the back of our Hamilton office buried in true-crime podcasts as they promote upcoming events within our community!

Support Facilitator – Ben

Ben is a Support Facilitator and avid cat enthusiast with a passion for fostering collaboration and progress. He brings a talent for fostering inclusive environments where all voices can be heard and valued.

Te Ao Maaori Programme Coordinator – Waitī

You can catch Waitī with their nose stuck in a book, singing with their korokoro tūī in their local youth chorus Manu Mātātahi. Nowadays, you can also find them at the Takataapui Wellbeing Programme Poipoia Te Rito on Tuesdays, and at the Takataapui and MVPFAFF+ open space on Fridays! Waitī invites you to come say hello.

Te Ao Maaori Programme Facilitator – Ash

Ash is (according to Ash) the “Beyonce” to our Destiny’s Child.
You will most likely find them facilitating workshops to our Takataapui and MVPFAFF+ friends!

Te Ao Maaori Programme Coordinator – Te Waimarie

As one of the Te Ao Maaori Programme Coordinators at RHW, Te Waimarie’s role is to ensure Tangata Whenua and Tangata Moana are seen and cared for in their tinana and wairua. Outside of that mahi they are a musician, artist and tauira with a passion for creativity and learning.

Finance and Funding Administrator – Robyn

You will find Robyn buried passionately in numbers and statements. This numbers ninja is at your service with coffee in hand!
