Aiga Arts!

Kia Orana and welcome to our new Monthly Pasifika & MVPFAFF+ Inspired Event – Aiga Arts! 🌸🐚

Embracing and appreciating the culture of Kuki Airani we’ll be making ‘ei katu (flower garlands). All are welcome to enjoy an evening of creativity, yummy kai, and chill vibes.

Aiga, to us, means family and community, a space where we can be ourselves entirely! Aiga Arts is a low-pressure and fluid arts and craft event centered around MVPFAFF+ folks, open to all those who want to join us on this waka.

Where: Rainbow Hub Waikato, Event space
When: Friday 28th March, 5:30pm – 7:30pm

What to bring:

  • Any ei katu you’re working on
  • Any individual projects
  • Your lovely self

    📍RHW Event Space
    🔞 R18 Event + Drug & Alcohol Free

Kia ora e te whaanau, nau mai, haere mai, and welcome along to Rainbow Hub Waikato’s Community Connect – a chance for the community to come together, collaborate and cultivate the future of rainbow services and events throughout the Waikato.

We are inviting you along to koorero with us, share what your hopes and dreams are, what you would like to see less of and what you would like to see more of! We are ready to dreamscape with you so that we can plan for a more diverse and inclusive community.

We want you to share your community voices, so that we can hear your community voices. Let’s come together with our inspiration, aspirations and enthusiasm , while connecting in a mana-enhancing, strength-based approach to ensure we create a safe and seen space.

Whether you’re passionate about building community, fostering belonging, or exploring new ways to support each other, this is a chance to be part of shaping what comes next. We believe in community-led approaches, and that’s why we would love to connect with you!

We will supply some yummy kai, allowing space for vulnerable conversations, supportive collaboration, and most importantly creating an atmosphere where we can find what sparks joy in our lives, and explore how we can make more of that happen in our community.
So come sit down for a cuppa, let’s have a chat.
